Passengers and visitors using Memphis International Airport (MEM) can take full advantage of the onsite facilities and amenities within its three main terminal buildings (A, B and C) and its concourse areas (A, B and C).

As you move around, you will encounter more than 50 different shops, cafes, fast-food outlets and restaurants, which are accompanied by a barber shop, the Delta Sky Club, the Dorothy L. Bobbitt Health Station and the local student art exhibition entitled 'Memphis, Its Music, Sights and Sounds'.

Also at Memphis Airport is the Belz Museum of Asian and Judaic Art, where themed art works, jade vases, Asian figurines and intricate carvings are displayed next to the Delta Sky Club. Many additional art works are display of the terminal walls, in an effort to enhance the overall appearance and enrich the travel experience.


Airport Information Desks


Information desks are situated on the ground floor, close to the baggage reclaim area. Many multilingual staff are available if required, speaking Arabic, Dutch, French, German, Spanish and some other languages.

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets


There are around 25 different shops located within the airport, with the majority being clustered in Terminal B. Here you will find CNBC News, Explore Memphis, Hudson Booksellers, River City Travelmart and a popular Elvis Presley gift shop with a large amount of Elvis memorabilia. Further newsagents are located within Terminals A and C, as well as at the Ticket Lobby and within the Passenger Connector.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants


Those looking for somewhere to eat will be able to choose from just under 30 eateries, ranging from simple snack kiosks and cafes, to takeaways, grille bars and sitdown restaurants. Amongst the most popular are Back Yard Burger, Corky's BBQ, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Famiglia Pizzeria, Lenny's Sub Shop, Maggie O'Sheas, Starbucks and Vito's Gourmet Deli Market. If you are in a hurry, then perhaps one of the plentiful vending machines will suffice.

Currency Exchange, Business and Banking Facilities


Foreign currency exchange facilities at MEM are located at B36, being opened on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, between 16:30 and 19:00. You can also arrange travel insurance from here. For business services, check out the work center and conference room, based between Terminals A and V, near the security checkpoint. A cashpoint machine awaits passengers at the ticket lobby / rotunda of Concourse B. Close by, the International Business Service and Travelex Center provides additional amenities.

Disabled Facilities


Disabled travelers passing through Memphis International Airport will be able to make use of the wheelchair-friendly layout, the adapted toilet cubicles and the telecommunications devices for the hard of hearing. Where possible, special needs will always be met, although advance notification is appreciated by airline staff, in case advance arrangements need to be made.
